Issue 4 | Texture: Tula of the Ice People

Pattern: Tula of the Ice People Socks

This pretty pair of textured socks are sure to become a favorite go-to in your sock knitting repertoire.

“Tula of the Ice People is a beautiful, but cursed, member of the Ice People who lived during the 19th century. She has a natural ability to hex people who harm her beloved family.
Still, she knows the difference between right and wrong, so she is very careful with her magic.
Because she struggles to be good, though all she really wants to do is black magic, she calls herself an ‘Angel with Veiled Horns’. During her late teens, she meets the love of her life, and when with him she can control her magic. After her husband’s death, however she and her relative, Heike, embark on a quest to the Valley of the Ice People to try to find Tengel the Evil’s Cauldron. This quest turns out to be a dangerous journey… “

For this sock, I have tried to capture my own image of the entrance to the Valley of the Ice People, which is a passage under a glacier.  ~ Anna
