How to Crochet a Simple Star

A fun and fast make for applique, wizards robes, witches wands, Fairy Godmother's wands and of course our very own Winter Fir Teacosy.

This  video tutorial shows how to create a simple 5 pointed star, starfish or sunburst.  The patterns is written below and the video walks you through the process with both US and UK terms.  I also show how to use a Magic Loop to cast on as an added bonus.

As the amount of yarn used is small this is an excellent scrap yarn project.  If you don't alreadyy collect your scraps please start as it can be a really economial way to make things in the future.

Note:  Links in the What I Used box below are affiliate links, no cost to you if used and I do really appreciate the support those extra pennies provide.
